  “While doing a season in Croatia, a coast line I have not spent much time on, I happened upon a couple of kiwi's doing an amazing job servicing the super yachts of the world on their new door step. I worked on a super yacht of 80 metres, 24 crew, 12 guests and an owner that had very specific food requirements. After trying a couple of other suppliers and thinking I was in for a very hard season I was given the email address for The Yacht Pantry and remember thinking ‘There is a god!’ I was very impressed with their catalogue of local and imported products, fresh fruits and vegetable and herbs straight from the ground the morning your delivery turns up. The fresh fish and meats is equal to those of the south of France. A very large smile came across my face.

  Apart from the impressive list of products Wanlop and Chary run one of the most professional operations I have had the pleasure of working with. Deliveries that turn up when they say they will. Intelligent and practical solutions to products that are unavailable. An amazing knowledge of the coast line and the delivery points which makes cruising up and down the coast easier - knowing that you can get your deliveries when you need them.

  Making contact with the Yacht Pantry was never a problem. You only needed to pick up the phone and call (I did this many, many times) and you always got an answer. Speaking with either Charly or Wanlop, both very professional and very knowledgeable about all their products, the delivery times, the distances, the ports and some time the weather. And always with a smile and a time for a quick chat.

  All the products I received through The Yacht Pantry were of top quality. The fresh fish, meat, fruit and veg, and all the dry goods and dairy where of top quality. Perfect. And if this was not the case then they just didn't bring it to the boat, but you would always know in advance. Another great service.

  I take my hat off to Charly and wanlop for running a fantastic operation. Good on you guys, some of my other suppliers could take a leaf out of your book.”

  After 3 years of hard graft Wanlop and Charly are doing an amazing job of providing some of the most fresh, beautiful and tasty produce that you can get on the shores of the Adriatic. Quite honestly in my experience no one else compares! I used another company this season (Captains orders) to mine and my Guests detriment, expired dairy goods, rotting veg, defrosted meats etc...but not at the Yacht Pantry!

  Every item I received was of A1 quality and if they couldnt get it they supplied an equally perfect substitute (after first checking if that was acceptable). Primarily for now they are in Croatia but here is hoping they move further South into Montenegro sometime soon!

  If your Chartering in Croatia give them a bell they give a 110 % to make your job that much easier. Cheers Wanlop & Charlie hopefully see you next season!"
